We are caught in a difficult time. But for those of us who remain sane, don’t gjive up.
i’ve become
more
depressed
lately
by
the
way that ignorance
has
enveloped
the
world around me
my
delusions
of
freedom
have
been
replaced
with such a deep
remorse
for
believing
and
dreaming
that
life
could be
as
promised
they
were always
eggshell hopes
but
gradient moments
of
freedom
kept
the fantasy
alive
but now
as
death
becomes
the main course
of
my future
i’ve
reconsidered
my insanity
as
a bit
of
self-hypnosis
brought on
by
societal spin
which
is
neither
here
nor
there
just
a side reference
for
my
note
a sudden loss of cabin pressure…
what shall we place
on
america’s gravestone
here lies
a nation
aborted
by
its greed
and
intolerance
of
its
own history
or
an unborn promise
made
with its fingers crossed
concealed
behind
a back of hate
and
prejudice
all
the while
scripting words
constituting
a justification
for
continuation
of
an oligarchy
but
with
more than
one
king
a feudal state
with
all the trappings
of
the middle ages
the core of the apple…
the skin looked perfect
but as the peel was removed
decay was revealed
rotting flesh of racism
and a history of hate
the promise of eternity…
A too real siginificant thought.
please stay
in
your
designated line
divine blessings
on
earth
are allotted
according to
your position
in line
but
rest assured
that
you’ll
be
given
a fair share
of
life’s bounty
upon
your souls passing
into
the chimeric promised land
a sure guarantee
from those
who
oppressed you
during
your time
on
earth
nobody wanted to get depressed…

and global warming
just getting back to normal
was man’s final delusion

Man is Man. That will never change until those rejected somehow gain control. Of course, that will only happen in dreams,
always believed
that
the world
i saw
would evolve
to
include me
but
ain’t nothing
changed
justice
is still sleeping
and
folks like me
are
more
than
welcomed
to
serve
but
not
eat
the forgetting…
Their are many lives which should celebrated.
But now they are nothing more than a mound in the earth.

deceptions
and
subterfuge
saying
to move on
we
must
forget
what happened
to heal the nation
said
as they
brush off
dried blood
from
their sleeves
and
hands
the blood
of
complicity
