We are nothing but a failed experiment.
had this strange thought
earth’s removing the virus
the virus of man
not that i’m complaining…
We old appreciate what you are saying.
now lord
i don’t want you
to take this
the wrong way

as they say
this growing old

all it’s
cracked up to be

with the woman

my dreams
and
hours upon hours
to be
with her
thanks to covid-19
but
there
appears to be
some
fine print
constraints
that
you
placed in
the
longevity contract
that
has made me
seriously
regret
those early years
of
abstinence
the dog ate my homework…
I am going to write with this feeling of this piece. incomitance is the mindset leading us . This is disaster beyond what should exist by intelligent people who could control in and offer intelligence advise.

This could never happen in real life, right.
all were to gather
according
to their tribe
some met
in
schools
some
in
villages
for
the elders
others
in
places of worship
or
places of their specific trade
but
all were to meet
for
the priests
who
lived apart
from
the people
had said
the lives
sacrificed
would bring
prosperity
but
if
no one
entered
the stoning pit
all
would perish
a few nonbelievers
questioned
why
more
poor and elderly
entered
the pit
but
most
merely gathered
and
awaited
to hear
the number of dead
since
saying the dead’s name
was taboo
and
would awaken
the god
sia
so
like a herd of cattle
the people
followed
the herdsman’s
pavlovian bell
merry-go-rounds…
With the way this virus is being handled by the government rest assured you are not alone.

my dreams
are
continuations
of
my day
each anxious moment
is replayed
as if
on
a conveyor belt
where
my fears
are
mass produced
without
modifications
by
hope
just
cloned nightmares
at
dawn
i awake
in
a pool
of
sweat
weary of the night’s
offerings
fearful
of
the new day
that
will bring
a sequel
when
darkness
shrouds
my being
