for all those loved ones who’ve died
anger overrides
my feelings of grief because
much could’ve been avoided
those who are guilty
proclaim daily all is well
sequestered from truth
they spin deadly webs of lies
entangling souls in death’s web
but crowds continue
to pay to see the freak show
con men continue
to promise what cannot be
nor in truth ever has been
